A Knowledge Network for the Public Sector. Our idea is that we want to create a Knowledge Community for the Public Sector across councils, health, police and anyone delivering support and progress to the people of this country.
Many people have over the years come to the evening events we have put on from the SME Knowledge Network and the Innovation Network and it's high time especially give the current state of affairs that we tried something new for you guys! We have a great deal of experience here in the networks in dealing with Public Sector have designed and run large scale programmes in the Health services and councils- so as any of you will know who have attended our events before.
We are starting with the same model, evening and breakfast events (there will be food!) with academics and practioners speaking on given subjects. There may also be break out sessions and other materials and activities but our primary objective will be to run things required by the community and to try to help create and maintain it as a learning and knowledge resource for the whole gang.
Initially, this will be held in the luxurious surroundings of Heaton Mount over here at Bradford School of Management, but if and as the Network grows we may be able to spread further and more widely in terms of venues and deliverables.
