    Bradford University School of Management student featured in the Financial Times

    Jacoub Sleibi, who has just completed an MSc in Global Finance and Banking at the School of Management, is featured in today’s Financial Times, discussing his dissertation about how the Dollar, the Dinar and the Shekel are affecting political and economical performance in Palestine. The Palestinian Monetary Authority, the precursor to a central bank in Palestine, is using Jacoub’s research in plans to establish a Palestinian currency.

    The Financial Times has today ranked Bradford University School of Management in the world's top ten for its Masters in Management programmes around corporate social responsibility, ethics and environment, reflecting the School's credentials in this area.  Overall, its Masters programmes are ranked in the top 10 for the UK and first in the North of England, and its position has risen 15 places globally to 45 in the world.

    Bradford University School of Management has opened its own trading room for students doing MBAs and specialist finance MScs.  Not only will they be able to trade in real time without the risk of expensive mistakes but, in a first for Bradford, they will be given an insight into ethical dilemmas and the impact of insider trading.
