Craig
has almost 20 years of experience of working in both the public and private
sectors. He started his career as a software engineer, working on training
simulators for the fire service and the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
He went on to become operations manager for the national fire service
computer, the Fire Information National Data Service (FINDS). He returned
to programming, acting as software consultant to implement the command
and control systems for Dublin Fire and Ambulance Service and a second
system for the Munster region.
After taking over the finance and administration function for the University of Bradford technology transfer company, he developed a marketing and business development role before becoming its consultancy manager. Craig joined the School of Management in 2002 to take charge of its action learning programmes. He has a higher national diploma in computing technology, a diploma in management studies, a diploma in research methods and an MA in management by action learning. He is currently doing a PhD at the School of Management. |

Teaching:

Craig's work is predominantly based around executive education using action learning. He facilitates two sets on the MBA in Engineering Management, the first action learning course to receive AMBA accreditation. He is also responsible for the Reflective Learning Journal of the DBA, and facilitates the peer review workshops for the same programme. |

Craig is director of studies for: the MBA in Engineering Management; the corporate consortium MBA led by the airline, Emirates; and the branch director's programme for NG Bailey. |
