Masters Scholarships 2013/14
The University of Bradford offers a number of specific awards and scholarships to help with the funding of your tuition fees. Applicants are normally eligible for a maximum of one scholarship of bursary from the University
1. Alumni Discount Scheme for Academic Year 2013/14 Starters
All alumni of the University of Bradford, regardless of when or where they have graduated will receive a 15% discount on their tuition fees if they achieved a 2:2 or above in their undergraduate degree. Full details may be found on the University website.
2. International Scholarships

India |
All Master’s students studying full-time in Bradford from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon and Turkey will be automatically awarded an International School Scholarship of £2,000 (based on nationality). In addition, they will be eligible to apply for an Academic Excellence Scholarship of up to 50% of the fee. |

Nigeria |
All Master’s students studying full-time in Bradford from Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda will be automatically awarded an International School Scholarship of £2,000 (based on nationality). In addition, they will be automatically short-listed for a set number of Academic Excellence Scholarships of up to 50% of the fee if they meet the minimum academic requirements (no application form required) – any applicants that meet the minimum requirement will be emailed to confirm they have been shortlisted. |

Academic Excellence Scholarships

Automatically Assessed scholarships for students from particular countriesAll Master’s students studying full-time in Bradford from Azerbaijan, China, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Vietnam will be automatically short-listed for a set number of Academic Excellence Scholarships of up to 50% of the fee if they meet the minimum academic requirements (no application form required) – any applicants that meet the minimum requirement will be emailed to confirm they have been shortlisted. Scholarships by application for students from the rest of the worldAll Master’s students studying full-time in Bradford from other countries not listed above will be eligible to apply for an Academic Excellence Scholarship of up to 50% of the fee. |
| Countries in Crisis | These scholarships are to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster etc. Click here for a full list of eligible countries |
3. Ma Kam Ming Scholarship Fund
The Ma Kam Ming Scholarship Fund continues to be able to support up to 4 scholarships for full-time postgraduate study leading to the degree of MSc, at the School, from permanent residents of Hong Kong or citizens of China in 2012/13.
4. Awards for company-sponsored study
A Business relationship bursary of up to 25% on any company-sponsored or part-sponsored Master’s course is available for companies with whom the School has a relationship or demonstrated business engagement. The amount would depend on the strength of the relationship, which might include companies who have previously funded a student on a Bradford programme, employed an undergraduate placement student or MBA student to undertake a project, employed a member of faculty to produce a KTP or research project, commissioned a customised Executive Education programme, or supported the School with speaker events, but this list is not exhaustive and other business engagement activities could be considered eligible.
