Learning Resources and Support

Students have access to a range of services offered by the University of Perugia, e.g. libraries, IT facilities and VLE. Spoleto has a fantastic municipal library which is available to students for a variety of purposes. The JB Priestley Library on the University of Bradford city campus and the specialist library at the School of Management also provide a wide range of printed and electronic resources to support students. The University of Bradford's online resources are available to all students, irrespective of location or programme.

Support and guidance is provided by the School of Management Course Team and the programme management team at the University of Perugia. International students can also take advantage of the support and advice available from the International Office of the University of Perugia. In addition, advice and assistance can be sought from the dedicated Careers Officer, Effective Learning Officer and Skills Development Officer at the School of Management. All students become Associate members of the Alumni Association when they join the MBA programme and full members on graduation.

Course team

Support for students personally and in their studies is provided by the Universities' Course Teams (Director of Studies and Programme Management Team) with whom students are able to talk about any academic or personal concerns; there is always someone available to provide help and support to students as required. Students are also provided with a comprehensive series of handbooks that can be consulted on a range of learning and practical issues whist course/module tutors are available to consult on subject specific queries.

The MBA programme team at the University of Perugia work with the student body to ensure they receive the best possible support to facilitate the educational, cultural and life experiences of their students. Activities in business, campaigning, culture, food and drink, music and the performing arts, politics and religion, as well as sport are available and participation is encouraged; facilitating integration in the lifestyle and culture of the region is a key objective of the Perugia management team.

Careers and employability

The University of Bradford is committed to helping students develop and enhance employability. The Career Development programme for postgraduate students consists of a programme of Job skills workshops which are offered throughout the year plus a summer programme that can be accessed by students when required.

One to one guidance from experienced Career Coaches is also available. All career information, online resources and postgraduate Job Opportunities can be accessed on the School of Management Career's website. A variety of extra online resources are also available.

Additionally, the University of Perugia's Job Placement Office is available to provide assistance in finding placements and internships. An annual Job Placement Fair is also run in Spoleto for students on The Bradford-Perugia MBA in Italy programme.

Learning and development

The Learner Development Unit provides support in all aspects of academic, maths, numeracy and interpersonal skills. This service is available to visiting students and consists of interactive workshops that have been designed to complement the support available from Advisers and the wide range of online materials available at the School of Management.
