Complete the National Student Survey 2010

Calling all Final Year Students - Your Opinion Matters

If you are a home or EU undergraduate in your final year, you should receive an e-mail asking you to fill-out the National Student Survey - some 22 questions about your course and University experience - on Monday 11th January.

Why do the survey?

For you, it's an opportunity to feed back about your course and your time at the University. As The National Student Survey say: 'It's your chance to have your say about what you liked and didn't like about your student learning experience during your time in higher education.'

For us, it's a really important survey that helps to improve our high-quality courses and allows us to understand the attitudes of our students towards their time and learning experience at our University.

If you haven't done so already you can have your say, and help us develop, by clicking here to complete the survey. (external website)

What it covers

The survey will cover the following topics:

  • Teaching on My Course
  • Assessment and Feedback
  • Academic Support
  • Organisation and Management
  • Learning Resources
  • Personal Development
  • Overall Satisfaction

Student feedback is used to compile year on year information that is:

  • published on Unistats.com (external site) where prospective students and their advisors can use the results to help make informed choices of where and what to study
  • useful to your university, Students' Union or college to facilitate best practice and enhance the student learning experience.

You and your answers remain anonymous during the survey process and your contact details are only used for the purpose of the survey.
