Research Areas

Research conducted by members of the Vision Sciences Research Group comes under two broad headings: 'Optics and Ageing' and 'Visual Neuroscience'.

In recent years we have seen a great strengthening of the research culture in Vision Science, evidenced by the dramatic rise in the numbers of post-doctoral research assistants working alongside our full-time, academic staff members. Our research continues to be published in leading journals of ophthalmology/vision science, and we have also succeeded in publishing our recent findings in high-profile, general neuroscience journals (e.g. Proceedings of the Royal Society, Journal of Physiology, Current Biology, The Neuroscientist).

Whatever your reason for visiting these pages, we hope that you will find the information you require. If not, please contact the Director of Research (b.t.barrett@bradford.ac.uk).
