Progression to Pre-Registration Period Programme

The General Optical Council now require graduates entering the pre-registration year, to have achieved a minimum of a lower second class Hons degree in Optometry and a certificate of clinical competence.

For UK graduates who have not met these requirements, we run a year long study programme which gives students an further opportunity to meet these requirements.
