We run a tailor-made adaptation period programme open to qualified optometrists from certain countries, enabling them to gain registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
The course content and duration is specified by the GOC and is dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
For further information, you must first contact the GOC to determine whether your country of origin is part of the scheme, and if so, the GOC will confirm your individual study requirements. Once you have this information, you can contact our programme coordinator, Ms Annette Parkinson, for details on our Adaptation Period Programme.
