A key aspect of the project is to work with student interns so that we might better understand the role of a "student intern" and develop a suitable training package.

Francesco Taglini Francesco is in his final year of study in Business Management. He is President of the Volleyball Club and is also a Student Ambassador. In 2010, while interning for JISC Executive, he was involved in the design and implementation of a new service offer specifically tailored for first year undergraduate students, later presenting it at King’s College London. As an Outduction intern, Francesco is keen to build on these skills on the final year student experience project. |

Sophie Ash-Collins Originally from Denmark, Sophie came to England almost 4 years ago and is now in her fourth and final year of a BA Business with Law sandwich course. She did her placement year with Kingston University in which she gained a lot of insight into the services provided to students. During her final year Sophie is keen to get involved in as many interesting projects as possible and is passionate about improving the final year experience for her fellow students. |

Greg Harradine Greg is currently in his final year studying towards a BMus Honours in Music Technology. On Monday 11 May, he won the most prestigious Kingston University Ambassadors Award. An Outstanding Achievement Award, Greg was nominated and voted by staff and peers, winning £100 in gift vouchers, and he and other ambassadors (about 80) were taken for dinner to celebrate. Along with two other ambassadors, Greg played some songs from his own set on the day. |

Louise Shepherd Louise is just coming to the end of her Masters in the Creative Economy with Museum and Gallery studies. She returned to university having travelled for a year and also working at a communications company because her main interest is the arts and she feels that this masters has given her the skills needed to pursue a career in this area. As well as being an Outduction student intern Louise has also worked as a support worker for the disability and dyslexia support office and also with the development office during a fundraising campaign where she was top student caller, raising over £12,000 for various University causes. She enjoys working as a student intern as finds examining the final year experience very interesting and important; having now gone through it twice herself it has given her first hand insight to what students go through. |

Maarja Hallik Maarja is originally from Estonia and currently in her final year of undergraduate degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the University of Bradford.. She's been actively involved the University of Bradford Ecoversity programme as an ambassador, Peace Society and many other initiatives, which have in so many ways enriched her university experience. She loves exploring and facilitating processes with particular focus on perception/worldview, empowerment, and ESD; organizing events, and being creative when it comes to understanding and dealing with complex social and environmental issues ... among many other interests! She has lots of dreams for the future, and is keen to make the best out of her final semester and the final stage of the Outduction project. |

Tamara Jeffrey Tamara is a final year student from London studying ICT with Business at the University of Bradford. She has a keen interest in technology, especially in regards to web-based applications and systems. Once she graduates, she hopes to pursue a career in Web Design & Web Development and has already developed a number of websites for a few small local businesses. She is very driven, self-motivated and enjoys embarking on challenges. Which is why she is very excited and enthusiastic about being part of the Outduction team, helping final year students progress into fulfilling careers and life choices. |

Aamir Mahmood Aamir is currently studying for PGCEE Post Graduate Certificate in Employability and Entrepreneurship. He graduated in July 2010 with BSc (Hons) in Computer Information Systems. One of the biggest reasons for choosing University of Bradford was the university chancellor Imran Khan. He has been Aamir's childhood hero and inspiration and was always inspired by his achievements such as winning the cricket world cup for Pakistan and building a cancer care hospital in Pakistan. The other reason for choosing this university was the friendliness of the staff at the University of Bradford that gave him a good feeling about the place. Hewas also impressed by all the facilities, in particular the libraries, advanced computing labs and gym. Aamir is looking forward to working on this collaborative project. |

Amit Mandal Originally from India, Amit is a computer science engineer and is currently pursuing Master in Business Administration from Bradford University School of Management. He carries work experience of three years in the capacity of Quality Analyst. He has been actively involved in Data Analysis. He is also involved in the project called Trans:it Engineering, which focuses on smooth transition of student from FE to HE. Talha Younas Talha Younas completed a BSc Electrical Engineering in Pakistan and is now studying for a Masters in Electrical Engineering. Talha was a member of many societies in his university that were keen in provoking interest in studies for the students and focusing final year students. He has experience of arranging exhibitions of projects and seminars which created interest in studies for the students. Apart from these activities he loves to watch cricket and is obsessed with chess. |

She had a placement last year at Vauxhall Motors as Health and Safety Engineer and at the end of her placement passed NEBOSH National General Certificate with distinction. Vladimir Mironov Vladimir is in the final year of the Engineering & Management course. His recent achievement was the "Most Enterprising Summer Experience Project" Prize, presented by the Vice Chancellor of the University.
