Social Work and Social Care

We offer accredited Social Work degrees at both BA and MA level, with a high rate of employment for our graduates. These degrees offer placements where students gain experience in relevant settings.

Our Working with Children, Young People and Families degree is offered as a BA degree.

Research in the Division focusses on four strands: Religion, Belief and Social Work; Understanding Policy and Practice with children and families; Experiences of Service Users; and the Organisation and Management of Social Work.

Staff in the Division also have excellent links with employers,regionally, nationally and internationally.
