Students' Union

The Union (UBU) is the centre of all social activities on campus and with so many different people making up the Bradford student community, our mission is to provide something for everyone.

We offer a wide range of services but you can use us how you wish. Sometimes as a shop or a bar, at other times for activities or a sport, and when you need us, we are here to act as an advocate and a representative for you.

The Union executive are all students or graduates of the University so we generally know how to help you navigate through any situation you find yourself in - whether you want advice on your international visa, or just to be introduced to other pyromaniacs with a passion for twirling fire sticks!

Welcome Week

Your first introduction to the Students' Union will probably be on Welcome Week. The UBU team will be there to help you settle in and find out what is going on. Don’t sit in your room feeling shy, just visit the Freshers’ Fair and check out all the clubs and societies - you'll find it very difficult not to see one that interests you.
