JobShop
The JobShop is part of Career Development Services, which aims to help students find part-time, temporary and casual staff. If you are an employer looking to fill a position the JobShop may be able to help.
Vacancies are advertised via a noticeboard and on the vacancies page on this website.
Details of students looking for work, the type of jobs they are seeking and their skills are stored on a database enabling us to match these to employers requirements.
Students who register possess a wide variety of skills. For example a wide range of languages including Cantonese, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Urdu, Punjabi and Spanish.
Students also have a diverse range of IT skills such as:
- Web design in HTML, Dreamweaver or Front Page
- Microsoft Office Software
- Programming languages
- Graphic Design
Many students have previous experience. The JobShop may have the ideal person on the books waiting for your opportunity.
