Remote Access to Conference - Elluminate

Here are details of how you can take part in the Tomorrow's Sustainable Universities  Conference via Elluminate. 

The conference will take place over 2 days (15th and 16th July), with the Keynote Presentations and Discussion Panels being available through Elluminate on both days.

Please note that each day will be held in different Elluminate spaces to enable us to record each day separately. This means you will have different logins for each day.


Day One - 15 July 2010

Participate in the morning session:

To participate in the morning sessions on Day 1, click on the link above which will be live from 10.00am onwards. This will enable you to take part in the following sessions:

Day One Morning Session Content: 

  1. 10:30 Welcome and Introduction

Participate in the End Note session:

To participate in the afternoon End Note session on Day 1, click on the link above which will be live from 3.00pm onwards. This will enable you to take part in the following session:

Day Two - 16 July 2010

Participate in Day 2:

To participate in Day 2 of the conference, click on the link above which will be live from 9.30am onwards. This will enable you to take part in the following sessions:

Day Two Morning Session Content:

  1. 10:00 - 10:30 Verbatim Theatre
    A verbatim theatre uses the real words from interviewees/delegates to construct a play or performance. A script will be crafted from vox pop interviews, discussions and anecdotes from Day 1 and played out in a performance to inform and hopefully entertain Day 2.
  2. 10:30 - 10:40 Welcome and Introduction

         Changing Higher Education Futures - Good or Bad for Sustainability?
  5. Sarah Porter, Head of Innovation JISCThe transformed university: the role of technology in enabling the sustainable campus.
