Our Physiotherapy programmes offer you outstanding facilities and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on experience.

Our 4-year MPhysiotherapy - Sport and Exercise Medicine programme is an integrated Master's designed for those most interested in a career in sport and fitness, and our 3-year BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy focuses on the management of acute and long term conditions.

Our programmes are approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

MPhysiotherapy - Sport and Exercise Medicine received 100% overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2021, whilst our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy received 95%.

The University of Bradford was ranked 8th in the UK in the Complete University Guide Physiotherapy Subject League Table 2023.

You'll learn from experienced practitioners and work with real patients throughout your studies, both on practice placements and in the University's Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Clinic.

New funding announced

The government has outlined new funding for nursing, midwifery and other Allied Health Professional courses. From September 2020, Students at English universities will receive up to £8,000 with a minimum of £5,000 a year in funding.

Where Physiotherapy can take you

Our Physiotherapy course is approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the statutory body for Allied Health Professionals. At the end of your studies, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the HCPC, and will be eligible to apply for full membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). 

This means that you can progress directly into work as a qualified physiotherapist. Recent graduates have gone on to work for various NHS trusts, as well as private clinics.
