Events and Training An important part of Web 2000 is the provision of staff development opportunities in the form of training, workshops and other similar events. Since October 1999 Web 2000 has offered lunchtime presentations and courses covering:
There have been several speakers from outside the University giving presentations about various aspects of the WWW of interest to those working in higher education. Details of all

Acrobat Reader): Many of the topics covered by lunchtime presentations are now incorporated in the Computer Centre's staff training programme. Sessions related to Teaching and Learning are organised by Teaching Quality Enhancement Group's Learning Technology Manager.
