This site now serves as an archive only for historical purposes.

The Web 2000 project provided the University with opportunity to expand and improve its Web site, promote the use of the Web and maximise its potential as a powerful tool for everyone at the University.  Although the project was drawn to a close at the end of 2001, we continue to build upon its foundations.

Current support to Web users and developers is available on the Learning Support Services Web authoring resources page.

What is Web 2000?

In short, it is a project to provide a focus for Web development at the University.

Over the past few years, use of the Web at Bradford has been growing at a rapid rate. People have been quick to adopt it and have found many different ways in which they can use it to support their work or their study. Many individuals across the University have also been involved in building up the University's own Web presence, which has now become a valuable asset, heavily used by staff, students and visitors alike.

More detailed information about Web 2000 can be found in the project outline.
