This site now serves as an archive only for historical purposes.

The Web 2000 project provided the University with opportunity to expand and improve its Web site, promote the use of the Web and maximise its potential as a powerful tool for everyone at the University.  Although the project was drawn to a close at the end of 2001, we continue to build upon its foundations.

Current support to Web users and developers is available on the Learning Support Services Web authoring resources page.

If you wish to access Web2000 pages and are unable to do so, please e-mail info-admin@bradford.ac.uk

Questionnaires

On-line Survey

The University's Web site is being redeveloped to have two "home" pages, one for external use and one for internal use.  This allows the "external" face of the Web site to be developed with much more of a marketing focus, thus enabling the "internal" face of the Web site to be more closely tailored to the needs of current staff and students.  There will, of course, be links between the two. To ensure that the internal site meets your needs, staff and students were asked to complete an online survey.  The responses are given below in pdf format - these require Adobe Acrobat Reader:

On-line questionnaires were available for completion by staff, students and visitors during the period March 1999 to November 1999.  Thank you to all who provided feedback by this means.

There were 719 responses in total and a summary of responses is given in the following (require Adobe Acrobat Reader):

In late 1999/early 2000, the University Web site underwent some temporary, mainly cosmetic, measures with the aim of providing a more “user-friendly” Web site for the interim.  The questionnaire responses do not, therefore, reflect the current Web site which goes a little way to addressing some of the comments/suggestions made.
