The Centre for Inclusion and Diversity

The Centre for Inclusion and Diversity (CfID) drives the delivery of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) of the University of Bradford.

We bring together evidence-based innovative practices and celebrate differences. We seek to enhance the University's role in enriching lives and advancing equality of opportunity and outcome for all. We are constantly working to create an environment where everyone, regardless of background or identity, feels a sense of belonging.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Professor Uduak (Udy) Archibong, is responsible for helping shape our EDI strategy. She ensures that best practice to create and embed a culture of equality, equity, diversity and inclusion.

Celebrations and diversity events

The CfID runs an annual programme of events and activities to raise awareness and stimulate open dialogue on social justice issues.

Our events are delivered for the benefit of students, colleagues and the local community. We also bring together strategic global collaborators for national and international impact.
