Centre for Psychology Studies
The Centre for Psychology at the University of Bradford comprises staff from the School of Social and International Studies and the School of Life Sciences. The aim of the Centre is to provide a scientific and empirical basis for how and why we behave as we do.
At Bradford we believe that psychology is a dynamic and challenging discipline, and the ideas we have about the brain, behaviour and social interaction need to be constantly examined.

The Centre for Psychology Studies is responsible for the single-honours BSc/BA courses in Psychology. The aim of the Centre is to explore the scientific and philosophical basis for how and why we behave as we do, through diverse approaches to the individual and wider society. A wide range of staff perspectives on central issues in psychology ensures students experience not only a broad range of theory and research, but also creates lively debate between competing viewpoints on the nature of human psychology and the discipline in general.
