Student progression and award
Plans should be made to anticipate potential decisions of a Board of Examiners that could have adverse consequences for students on suspended/withdrawn programmes.
The Regulations permit a Board of Examiners to require students to repeat a level/module with attendance. However, should that level/module no longer be available, alternative arrangements will need to be made. Similar difficulties may arise with students returning from intercalation, and it will be helpful to the Board if such issues have been anticipated and a programme of action approved as part of the interim arrangements.
