Mental Health: Reasonable Adjustments

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: All members of staff.

Aims: Under the Equality Act, students who experience difficulties with their mental health are entitled to have reasonable adjustments put in place in an attempt to mitigate against the impact of their disability on their studies and life at University. This right covers all aspects of their lives as students.

The session will look at reasonable adjustments in the areas of:

- Admissions and Interviews;

- Learning and Teaching;

- Assessment;

- Social Environments;

- Accommodation.

Session duration: 1.5 hours.
