Overcoming Procrastination

Prerequisite: None.

Target Audience: Open to all members of staff.

Aim: To increase your awareness of things that slow or prevent your progress towards personal or professional goals, and how to overcome them.

Objectives: by the end of this session you will have a better understanding of what makes you procrastinate and how to reduce it. This will be achieved by:

- understanding why we procrastinate;

- challenging unhelpful beliefs;

- developing better coping strategies;

- creating a procrastination prevention plan.

Session duration: 2 hours.
