Taking Care of Self and Others

Prerequisite: None.

Target Audience: Personal Tutors and those working in front line services, such as welfare.

Aim: This workshop will help you manage the demands and difficulties that can arise when we are helping students or colleagues in distress. It will help you set and maintain healthy working boundaries so that you are not drawn into lots of additional work, but can refer on appropriately.

By the end of this workshop you will have a clearer picture of your working limits and will be developing techniques for managing these with skill and confidence.

Session duration: 2 hours.
