University Governance

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: All members of staff. Particularly relevant for new (and existing) members of staff who have no knowledge of the University's governance and decision-making structures. Those new to Higher Education will find this of particular benefit.

Objectives: By the end of the session, delegates will be able to:

- outline the difference between various governance structures in operation in UKHE;

- explain the background to the UoB's governance and management structures and processes;

- describe the work that is being undertaken to modernise our processes.

Session duration: 2 hours.
