Obtained an award from the UK Operational Research Society enabling me fully to attend and deliver a paper at the 2008 annual OR conference, OR50, University of York, 9-11 September 2008. My paper "Flowgraphs in Reliability and Finite Automata -- How are they interrelated?" featured in the Maintenance and Reliability stream.

Other conference grants:

All my ESREL attendances (1997-2003) were partially funded by grants from the Royal Society or the Royal Engineering Academy.
