Dr Therese Sheehan joined the University of Bradford in 2013 as a Lecturer in Structural Engineering. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University College Cork in 2008 and an MSc in General Structural Engineering from Imperial College London in 2009. She completed her PhD in the University of Warwick from 2010 to 2013 where she also worked as a research assistant and an early career fellow. Her main research interests are in the fields of steel and composite (steel-concrete) structures and in earthquake-resisting buildings.
