How to enrol on your course

Before you begin your course, you must enrol as a student at the University of Bradford.

Enrolment is a compulsory three-part process:

Part 1: IT Activation and online enrolment

Pre-enrolment is completed via e:Vision, the University's online Student Portal.

Please ensure you follow these instructions carefully.

Log on to e:Vision

A few weeks before you start an email will be sent from itservicedesk@bradford.ac.uk with instructions on how to set up your IT account in order to log into e:Vision.

If you do not receive this email before your Enrolment Event here on Campus please contact itservicedesk@bradford.ac.uk.

Upon completing your IT account activation you will be automatically taken to log into e:Vision to complete your Pre-Enrolment.

If you don't do this straight away we will send you a reminder email inviting you to enrol via e:Vision.

If you don't receive this email please contact welcome@bradford.ac.uk.

Follow the online Enrolment process step-by-step

In the e:Vision portal you will need to update your personal details; you will also need to upload a photo of yourself for your student card, and a copy of your ID if not already done so as part of your application process (Passport, National ID Card, UK Birth Certificate or Full UK Driving Licence Photo Card) and any relevant change of name documents e.g. Deed Poll/Marriage Certificate etc.

You don't have to complete the portal in one go, you can always save your updates and return to finish your online enrolment at a later time.

In order to avoid unnecessary waiting times to collect your Student ID Card we recommend that you please remember to upload a passport style digital photograph of yourself.

Complete the process and keep your confirmation email safe

When you complete the online process in e:Vision you will receive a confirmation email.

Bring this email with you to Enrolment.

Print a copy of it or alternatively you can display it on an electronic device (smartphone, tablet, netbook).

Part 2: ID Check and Student Card Collection

ID Check and Student Card Collection will take place as part of your induction timetable.

Your induction timetable will be available shortly before term starts. Please check the New Students website for details.

Remember to bring your personal ID document that you uploaded as proof of identity and any relevant change of name documents e.g. Deed Poll/Marriage Certificate etc.

International students should report to the Visa Support Team (in the HUB, Richmond Building) first in order to complete the ID Check and Student Card Collection.

Part 3: Faculty Course Induction Programme

This is a series of events introducing you to your chosen course of study.

This is a great opportunity for you to meet your course tutors, the members of the Faculty Support Team and your fellow students.

It is very important that you attend your Faculty Course Induction Programme as it forms part of your official enrolment process.

Your Faculty will provide you with full details and guidance regarding your induction programme.

Course timetables and programme handbooks will be available shortly before your course starts. You can find your induction timetable on the New Students website now.
