As a Postgraduate Research student you will have your own enrolment and induction schedule, detailed below.
Important: You will need to remember to bring to the enrolment session your personal ID document that you uploaded as proof of identity and any relevant change of name documents e.g. Deed Poll/Marriage Certificate etc.
If you are a full time Home/EU or International postgraduate research student please see details regarding your IT activation and online enrolment.
Full-time and part-time Home/EU students
Once you have completed your IT activation and online enrolment you are required to enrol in person and collect your student card at your Welcome/ID check which will take place from 9:00 on 5 February (excluding extramural students) at the MyBradford desks in Richmond Building on city campus.
Full-Time International students
Once you have completed your IT activation and online enrolment you are required to report to the Visa Support Team from 9:00 on 5 February (excluding extramural students) at the MyBradford desks in Richmond Building on city campus in order to complete the ID Check and Student Card Collection.
Extramural research students
If you are a Extramural postgraduate research student you do not need to enrol in person. Please see details regarding your enrolment.
Once we have completed our checks we will send your student card to your home address, and provide access to your virtual learning environment on Blackboard.
Inductions will begin on 5 February 2018.
It is essential that you attend all your mandatory induction sessions.

If you are unable to make it here in time for your induction and the start of term, many of our programmes accept late arrivals and will provide tailored support to help you settle in and catch up on any study you have missed.
Please note that the latest date we can accept late arrivals for Postgraduate Research students is 9:00 Monday 12 March 2018.
Students arriving between Monday 19 February and Monday 12 March will be issued with a late arrival plan so the University will then be able to put into place any support that you may require.
If you will be joining a programme late for any reason, please contact email@example.com with your UB number, expected arrival date and the reason for your late arrival.
Financial information (applicable once enrolled)
If you are to be in receipt of any funding/studentship then you will need to visit Payroll on D Floor, room D42 (Richmond Building) once you have enrolled.
You will need to take with you:
- your studentship letter
- your new student ID card
- your bank details
Payroll will then be able to set you up in the system so that you can be paid.
