Welcome to the Pay and Pensions section of the Finance Department.
The team, led by Ben Petty, Interim Payroll & Pensions Manager, are situated in D42 of the Richmond Building and provides administrative support for all payroll and pension processing. We are also the first point of contact for enquiries about:
- Salary Payments (including Basic Pay, Overtime and Sickness)
- Pension Administration
- Starters and Leavers
- Part Time Hourly Paid Employees
- PAYE and Tax Office queries
- Payments to Self-Employed Individuals.

The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is changing from 1st April 2016.
Following the conclusion of the Consultation on 22nd May 2015, the Trustees of the Scheme have now published the final design of the Scheme, details of which can be found on the PDF document below.
