Bringing the high street to the atrium with trademark handcrafted barista coffee including seasonal delights, sweet treats, and both hot and cold sandwiches. Enjoy our breakfast sandwich and coffee deal for only £2.50!
CURB
Open Mon - Fri 12:00 to 14:00.
An ever-changing offer of street food from around the world, great value for anyone on the go at £3.50 or less per portion.
Morrisons Daily
Open Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17:00.
A range of drinks, meal deals and snacks to see you through the day, as well as stationery, gifts and cards.
Richmond Eatery
Mon - Fri 08:30 to 11:00, 12:00 to 14:00.
The hot breakfast menu includes Red Tractor bacon and vegetarian options, as well as a delicious Egg Bar (RSPCA assured). All served alongside a continental selection and fresh fruit.
For lunch, the hot counters serve a menu from around the world; choose from street, loaded or bistro options. Offering a daily soup and full salad bar, as well as a selection of grab-and-go sandwiches, sweet treats, and snacks.
Roots
Roots is our plant-based counter at Richmond Eatery. Serving hot and cold plant-based meat-free dishes, from classic family favourites to inspired new creations, we've got plenty of dishes to keep lunch interesting.

Bertie's Street Food
Open Mon - Fri 11:30 - 14:00.
Bertie's Street Food is a new, unique concept on campus. Bertie's van will be roaming around and located at various different locations on campus, serving a selection of scrumptious street food from around the globe.
Each month, there will be a new menu theme from a new region of the world, and affordability will always be a priority. For information on the latest location and menu, please take a look at the Eat, Drink, Shop social media pages.
Morrisons Daily
Open Mon - Fri 08:00 to 20:00
Hot and cold drinks, meal deals and pizza fresh from the oven are all available here. Stock up on your kitchen cupboard essentials, stationery as well as your University branded clothing and merchandise.
Special diets and allergies
Please advise us of any special requirements or allergies you have at the time of booking. Every effort will be made to provide suitable dishes.
For example, vegetarian options are illustrated with (v) and all soup ordered for hospitality will be vegetarian unless specified. Gluten/wheat-free products are available on request. Halal meat and poultry are available on request.
Please note: traces of nuts may be found in some dishes so please ensure that you check before ordering if there is a risk to anyone present. If you have any allergy concerns at all please discuss these with a member of the BaxterStorey team.
We understand that food allergies can present a serious concern for some of our customers. If you would like information on the allergen content of our foods, our staff will be happy to assist.

Linking Environment and Farming (LEAF)
The products we purchase are LEAF awarded, meaning they support sustainable food and farming.
Certified Sustainable Palm Oil
Our policy is to avoid the use of Palm Oil wherever possible. If unavoidable, we only use RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO).
Assured Food Standard Red Tractor
All of our meat is ‘Red Tractor’ assured. Red Tractor food has been produced, transported, stored and packed to Red Tractor standards and licensing rules.
Rainforest Alliance Certified
Starbucks only use responsibly sourced cocoa in partnership with the Rainforest Alliance.
RSPCA Assured
All our meat suppliers are RSPCA Assured, which means they are dedicated to higher standards of farm animal welfare.
Certified Sustainable Seafood MSC
Our fish is from MSC-certified suppliers. This means it has met international best practices for sustainable fishing.
Farmed Responsibly asc Certified
Our fish suppliers also have Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification - assuring aquaculture production conforms to the world's leading standard for responsibly farmed fish and seafood.
Management Systems and Certifications
We are compliant with the latest regulations in order to deliver a more sustainable service.
Environmental Management System
In 2007 WSH became the first UK independent food service business to operate and have certified to ISO 14001, an environmental management system (EMS) for its entire support function, whilst providing a framework for environmental best practice across the UK operations.
Energy Management System
In November 2015 we were awarded ISO 50001 certification for our energy management system. Originally our certification presented us with compliance for phase 1 of the Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme (ESOS). ESOS is the UK’s response to article 8 of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive.
Too Good To Go
Every day on campus, unsold produce would go to waste, but as part of our fight against food waste it is being offered to staff, students and the local community at a discounted price through the Too Good To Go app. The app lets you buy food that would otherwise go to waste at a great price.
Each year, more than one-third of the food produced in the world for human consumption goes to waste. The most up to date figure are over 2.5 billion tons worth of food is wasted every year. Food waste is responsible for 10% of the global greenhouse gas emissions – in fact, if food loss and waste were its own country it would be the third-largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. Climate experts agree that reducing food waste is one of the most important things we can do to address global warming.
How does it work? To get started download the Too Good To Go app for free. Once you've registered you will see all the outlets local to you that are signed up, and join the fight against food waste. Then simply purchase a Magic Bag through the app and collect it within the allotted collection window. You won’t know exactly what’s in your Magic Bag until you pick it up - it’s all part of the surprise – but we aim to include £9 of goods and sell these bags at £3.
Sustainable Collection
In line with the University of Bradford's sustainability objectives, we are delighted both our on-campus shops stock our range of ‘Zero Negativity’ leisurewear, stationery, and holdalls which sit alongside a new season's range of Fairtrade t-shirts, bags, and more.
All of the Zero Negativity products on sale at the University shops are certified as being made from organic cotton, recycled plastic, or a blend of the two. These have a drastically lower carbon footprint than conventional cotton or virgin polyester. They are made using only water-based, solvent-free, plastic-free inks and heat transfers for garment decoration - even the transfer backings are made of PET, which is all recycled!
The embroidery is manufactured in the UK or in the 'green city' of Freiburg, Germany. It is made with recycled water, uses 60% less water than standard embroidery, and contains no hazardous substances which are often used in the dye process. Using this kind of embroidery maintains the organic certification of our products. Any tags attached to garments are made of recycled card, attached by recycled string, and even the invoice in every box is made of recycled paper.
So now you can show your support and make a difference by shopping on-campus at the University. Little steps help us all be more sustainable.

Ask for Angela
We are part of 'Ask for Angela', a nationally recognised initiative that allows people to discreetly ask for help from venue staff if they feel unsafe when on a date or night out.
So whether it is an inappropriate comment, unwanted attention or something just doesn't feel right, you can approach a member of staff and 'Ask for Angela'.
The member of staff will know that you are requesting help and will assist you in removing yourself from the situation, discreetly and without any fuss.
Walksafe app
We are pleased to promote the @walksafe.io app. The app helps users to find night-out venues trained in various safety schemes such as Ask for Angela. Other features include highlighting safe routes home, and options for friends and family members to follow your journey.
Best Bar None
We are accredited by Best Bar None, a scheme supported by the Home Office and drinks industry that aims to improve standards in the evening and night-time economy.
Through a combination of responsible management, ongoing improvements, and social responsibility, we share Best Bar None’s goal to help provide a safer night out to all.
Bradford at Night
Bradford at Night is a Bradford BID initiative set up to promote business development and investment for the benefit of its members and other businesses within the evening economy. A key initiative of Bradford at night is the relaunch of Bradford city centre PubWatch, with over thirty venues and partners participating in the scheme.
We’re proud to champion the effort of creating a safe, secure, and responsibly led drinking environment in all licensed premises throughout the city centre including our campus.
Our participation in the scheme supports and strengthens the aim of improving the ambience of the environment in and around premises in the PubWatch area, and enhances the safety, security, comfort and wellbeing of customers and staff so that their visit is a pleasurable occasion, which they will wish to repeat.
