Giving to Bradford

This unique and outstanding institution could not achieve all it does without the generosity of our donors.

Throughout our history, individuals and organisations from a variety of different backgrounds and circumstances have enhanced our facilities, teaching, and research empowering the University to share these strengths with the wider society.

Bradford is a technology university, explicitly not an ivory tower. We believe in making a difference to the world by making knowledge work: delivering professional and vocational courses with great job outcomes for our graduates; and carrying out cutting-edge applied research to improve people's lives worldwide. Our three academic themes which we adhere to in all that we do are advanced healthcare, innovative engineering, and sustainable societies.

In 2016/17 we are celebrating 50 years of success and at the same time looking forward to an even more successful future. We recognise that all our associates — alumni and firends, students and staff, supporters and partners — have made valuable contributions to the University of Bradford and we hope to build on the generous gifts we receive as we enter into our next 50 years.

If you would like to discuss making a donation or giving to Bradford please contact the Alumni and Development Office on +44 (0) 1274 23 5179 or email

"You can be confident of your university developing in the future with the same dynamism as has been shown in the past... Educating men and women who receive education and training relevant to the needs of our changing society."

Harold Wilson
First Chancellor of the University of Bradford
