Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

Substances hazardous to health are natural or artificial substances whether in solid or liquid form or in the form of a gas or vapour (including micro-organisms) which by their nature are hazardous. The flammability hazard is not defined as hazardous to health under the COSHH Regulations and should therefore be considered under Dangerous Substances Explosive Atmospheres.
