Skype for Business Project

As part of the IT strategy, the University’s new Unified Communications service - Skype for Business - is being introduced at the University.

Skype for Business is replacing the current telephony system, and offers a powerful way to connect and collaborate with colleagues and others.

What does this change mean?

As well as the advantage of the rich features that come with Skype for Business, the change means that for most University users traditional desktop phones are being replaced with modern headsets which connect to your computer, along with the Skype for Business software.

If you have a need for reasonable adjustments to be made, and would like to try out the Skype for Business software and headset in advance, please contact itservicedesk@bradford.ac.uk (extension 3333) and we can arrange this with you.

Skype for Business is being introduced on a phased basis and IT Services are liaising with each area to plan rollout dates.
