Who can use the library?
All members of staff and students of the University of Bradford are eligible to use the JB Priestley Library.
Non-members of the University of Bradford are sometimes permitted to use the libraries. Full details can be found on our information for visitors page.

Can I renew a laptop?
Laptops may be renewed in person at the Library counter on Floor 0 of the JB Priestley Library. Renewal is subject to a minimum stock level at the time that the request is made. Renewal of these items using the web renewal service or by telephone is not permitted. Further information on borrowing a laptop is available on our laptops and other devices page.

Who can I ask about an item that I have lost in the library?
Property found within the library is taken to the Security Desk in the JB Priestley Library. Please ask at the desk for assistance. Some items of property can only be collected during staffed hours.
Property will be kept for 28 days prior to disposal, with the exception of items such as passports and driving licences which will be sent back to the appropriate authority.
Property found in other parts of the campus is likely to be taken to the Richmond Reception Desk. Please ask there for assistance.
