New Student Printing Arrangements in J. B. Priestley Library – free printing available during trial

The University of Bradford is currently in the process of implementing a new student printing system which will modernise and improve the printing experience across both campuses for students.

The first stage of this rollout will be in the J B Priestley library starting on Wednesday 11 October, where we would like to encourage all students to try it out and report any problems they experience to a member of library staff.

As a thank you for assisting us with this, the University is pleased to announce that students can print in this location free of charge until Sunday 22 October 2017. New, lower, print charges will be in place once the trial is complete.

Printing elsewhere in the University remains chargeable and, as the system on trial in the Library is new and separate to the current printing arrangements elsewhere on campus, documents sent from outside cannot be released in the J.B. Priestley Library during this trial.  To print a job on a library printer, you must be an existing student and must initiate it from within that building.  Printing of documents will be logged and monitored for quality purposes.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the very high demand for printing, we are restricting print jobs to a maximum of 25 pages. We are not restricting the number of jobs a user can send at this stage. Please help to minimise our carbon footprint by printing only the pages you need.
