Research Areas

Dr Boyne is an early career research scientist who is in the process of establishing a melanoma research group at the University of Bradford. Prior to his appointment as lecturer, Dr Boyne held post-doctoral and senior post-doctoral positions at the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine (LIMM) and University of Leeds, which resulted in a number of published articles in high impact-factor journals such as EMBOJ and PNAS (the current H-index for JR Boyne is 12). Dr Boyne has a strong background in the molecular biology of cancer in addition to RNA processing and virology.
