  • Received a bursary to come and study on campus in Bradford

Why did you want to study an elective at the University of Bradford campus?

I wanted to come to Bradford to experience the campus and have face-to-face interaction with the module leader. I also wanted to meet my classmates because I would only usually speak to them online via Blackboard.

What insight and experience have you gained from studying on campus?

The program provided by the School of Management lives up to the hype of its Triple Crown Accreditation and ranking. It was a good balance of theory and up-to-date case studies that were relevant to my career.

What do you like about the campus and the city?

I really liked the Emm Lane campus, it provided a great atmosphere for studying and networking amongst executive students. The staff in the School of Management were really warm and helpful.

I have also seen the charm of the City of Bradford, I particularly enjoyed the underground bars where my classmates and I visited on an evening.

What advice would you give to students that are thinking of applying for the bursary to study on campus?

Students should take the opportunity to experience taking an elective at the Bradford campus; it’s a good opportunity to take a break from work while gaining knowledge and a global perspective.
