Individual Support (1:1 Consultation)

We offer confidential, supportive, one-to-one consultations for all students at the School of Management. You can use this for feedback on draft assignments, a general discussion on practical study techniques, or to talk through any personal difficulties that may be hindering your success.

Essay Feedback Service

ELS team can provide formative feedback on some of your module essays. If you send a draft at least one week ahead of your submission deadline, we can then send detailed comments suggesting possible improvements, including structure, analysis, referencing.

Reviews can be provided electronically or in 1:1 consultation.

For essay feedback request, please email: MGT.ELS@bradford.ac.uk

Please note this is NOT a proof-reading service.  However, a list of proof-readers is available here: Proof-reader List

Note: students use proof-reading services at their own risk and expense. If not already shown on this list, check the experience of the proof-reader and agree a fee in advance of any work done.

“ELS has been a great help - formative feedback on my assignment drafts has helped identify my strengths and weaknesses in writing, and develop my ability to structure the argument.  As a result of ELS guidance, I started to see increasing grades for my assignments.”

"After receiving extensive feedback from ELS on the draft of my first assignment in the Managing People module, I realised I had to radically re-write it over the weekend before submission. I got an A."
