Sally is the Director of Studies for the Marketing degree.
Sally Burrows is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing .and has been teaching at the School of Management for 11 years. In addition to her first degree from the University of East Anglia, she completed her CPE (Law) at Leeds Polytechnic Law School before going in to practice for a short time. Her teaching qualification was taken at Park Lane College in Leeds.
She has extensive business experience, having worked in television in the USA and Australia before returning to the United Kingdom. Sally worked at British Gas as Publications Officer before becoming Direct Marketing Manager at Aspect Mail Order Ltd, and then at E.J.Arnold’s of Leeds. Having been on both client and agency side, she has in-depth knowledge of the work of marketing agencies, and ran her own marketing consultancy before joining the School of Management. She is a director of a Leeds-based manufacturing company, which she helped to set up 25 years ago.
Sally does both Executive Education and Knowledge Transfer work in the School, as well as teaching at both Undergraduate and Master’s level. Her current research interest are in creativity in marketing, in particular sensory and experiential marketing, bioaesthetics and sensory triggers.
