George obtained his DBA (Doctor in Business Administration) in 2009 from the Business School at Bradford. His thesis was on Organisational Psychological Health and his current research areas are Employee Engagement and the relationship between Work and Self Worth.

As well as teaching on the MSc in HRM at Bradford, George teaches at MBA level for two private Colleges; modules taught include:

  • Managing Change in Organisations
  • Managing the Human Resource
  • Planning the Human Resource
  • Business Environment
  • Working with and Leading People

George is a dissertation supervisor at MBA level and has experience as a tutor on distance learning modules.

As well as teaching George also works as a consultant helping companies overcome problems with Employee Engagement. This experience at the sharp end keeps him right up to date with what is happening in business today and provides a rich source of anecdotes to make the theory come alive for students.
