  • Sports and societiesUBU supports over 100 societies and 40 sports teams – all run for students, by students.
  • VolunteeringUBU runs Student Volunteering, a volunteering programme providing students with the opportunity to help in local community projects.
  • Student Advice Centre - UBU's Student Advice Centre is there to help you with any financial, visa, academic, personal or other issues you may encounter.
  • Media and entertainmentsUBU organises regular activities like Freshers’ Fortnight, club nights, special events, comedy nights, markets and (of course) our massive end of term party.
  • Student democracy - Student politics is thriving on campus, with regular general meetings that give you the chance to voice your opinion and influence the way the University works.
