Dragons, duels and skeletons – all this and more at the University of Bradford's open day!

Where can you have the chance to become a TV presenter, impress the business dragons, take part in a virtual duel, examine a skeleton, be a judge for a day or set the nation's interest rate?

All of these opportunities will be available at the University of Bradford's open day on Saturday June 25 from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

Taking place at the University’s city campus, the open day will showcase a range of courses from the five Faculties.

Information will be available on writing UCAS personal statements, dealing with student finance and the opportunities available to students outside of academic work. There will also be advice for parents to support their children’s transition to higher education and information for adults considering returning to education.

In addition, there will be tours of the campus and its award-winning facilities, including student accommodation in The Green.

The University’s Head of Admissions, Claire Pryke, said: “Attending our open day is an ideal way to find out more about university life here. It will help you make an informed decision about where to start the next phase of your academic journey. It’s an important decision, and our open day is designed to make sure you get all those questions answered.

“Our courses are designed with industry input from many of the employers who will be sifting through your CV, and as a student here you’ll be taught by the academic experts whose pioneering research is shaping the very future of those industries and professions. You’ll also have the opportunity to go on work placements with some of the world’s biggest names.”
