How would you introduce yourself?
I am a student of MA International Development Management. I am an artist by my educational background and I used to teach Art to O-Level students back home.
How did you come to study at BCID?
Although my previous degree was in Art and Design, I wanted to study Development because of my strong desire to make a difference in my country.
The courses offered by BCID were very flexible in providing a chance to study Development without a relevant background.
Also, the Bradford department of Social Sciences had a very high ranking in Social Sciences. These are the few reasons I came to study at BCID.
What have been the best aspects of your experience?
I have gained a lot of knowledge through my interaction with the best teachers in Development.
The teachers are not only knowledgeable in their field of speciality but are very kind and friendly.
The courses were well designed and intensive.
I 'specially liked the group and team projects as they helped me learn about my interpersonal skills and also gave me a chance to make great friends.
The best experience is to meet students from all over the world right in one class.
How does this programme relate to your own career goals?
I want a career in an NGO.
The modules and courses offered in this programme have helped me gained expertise about development issues, project planning, capacity enhancement and public policy required for my career goals.
