Led by the University of Bradford and funded by the European Union EC FP7 framework programme, GENOVATE is an action-research project based on the implementation of Gender Equality Action Plans in six European universities.
It brings together a consortium with diverse experience with gender equality mainstreaming approaches, with varying institutional and disciplinary backgrounds and located in different national contexts.
GENOVATE aims to ensure equal opportunities for women and men by encouraging a more gender competent management in research, innovation and scientific decision-making bodies, with a particular focus on universities.
