Gender Equality Change Academy Teams (GeCAT)
The change academy model involves teams of staff and students to facilitate change towards stated goals and objectives over a given time period.
The role of a change academy team member is therefore to support and facilitate change. How this is undertaken and over what timescale is under the control and decisions of the change academy teams.
At Bradford the change academy model includes an overall lead institutional team comprising 7-9 members and a team based within each academic faculty.
The purpose of a faculty-based change academy team is to localise and prompt action towards the goals and objectives of GENOVATE and to provide feedback to the institutional team on barriers, opportunities and progress identified.
Each team will have the backing and support of the Dean of each faculty and the role and time inputs should be recognized within normal school based workload planning.
