Guiding Principles Gender Equality and Research Innovation
GENOVATE outlines a set of guiding principles to strengthen research excellence frameworks and policies in the context of gender equality and diversity with the key objective of developing institutional codes of practice for assessing research excellence. Based on the themes of transparency, consistency, accountability and inclusivity, this project aims to achieve meaningful and sustainable impact in transforming the culture and values of universities into more gender-aware and gender competent environments and in increasing the number of women involved in setting the agenda and making decisions within the research enterprise as a whole.
The GENOVATE project has developed an E-learning package on gender competent leadership and management. This is an interactive tool targeted at senior managers and leaders, including academics, both current and those aspiring to management positions, in higher education sector.
GENOVATE Gender and Diversity Toolkit.
GENOVATE gender and diversity toolkit aims to promote sustainable change through integration of gender equality and diversity perspectives in innovation systems. This toolkit is intended for experienced as well as new innovators and people who want to learn more about how understanding gender and diversity can lead to more innovation in their everyday lives. The toolkit illustrate methods how academic institutions, social innovators, funding agencies, knowledge transfer partnerships, and intermediaries can use gender equality and diversity too.
