Dr Dan Mason
|Position||Programme Manager - Research Analytics for Born in Bradford|
Dan comes from a behavioural science background as a psychology researcher in a public health and primary care context.
In the twelve years prior to joining the University fo Bradford and the Bradford Institute for Health Research he worked on projects in web-based health risk communication, individually-tailored web-based smoking cessation advice and electronic monitoring and feedback of physical activity. Dan is interested in the use of emerging mobile and wearable technologies to monitor individual behaviour, to give individuals feedback on behaviour and to communicate health-related information. Over the years he has managed to wheedle his way into working increasingly on the IT side of his research interests, where (in his opinion) there is a lot of fun to be had.
