What is Bradford Science Bridges China?
The Bradford Science Bridges China programme was initially funded by Research Councils UK (RCUK) (2009-2012, £1.27m),to develop knowledge transfer, training and assist with commercialisation of healthcare-related products, in collaboration with 11 Chinese academic institutions. It was a collaboration between three leading research institutes at the University of Bradford, namely the Polymer Interdisciplinary Research Centre, the former Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation and the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics.
The programme was also supported by Medilink (Y&H) Ltd, the Healthcare Technologies Knowledge Transfer Network and the UKTI, who also form part of the industry-oriented Advisory Board.
Built on the success of Bradford Science Bridges China Programme, the team has secured substantial funding supports from both the UK and China.
