Apply for a Car Parking Permit
The University of Bradford's car parking policy seeks to clarify the regulations and restrictions for the benefit of our staff, students and visitors.
The car parking policy requires permits to be displayed on the motor vehicles of all staff, students and visitors who park in University car parks during the period of 9.00 am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Blue badge holders who require the use of a motor vehicle to enable them to come to the University are exempted from any fee.
The policy applies to all staff, students, contractors and visitors and covers the parking of all motor vehicles on University land.

Occasional Parking Permits
Occasional users may purchase scratch card permits at a cost of £3.00 per permit and these must be purchased in multiples of 5 to a maximum of 50 permits per annum. Permits are available to members of staff and students who use a motor vehicle, attend for work or study on an infrequent basis (one day a week or less) or occasionally hire vehicles for business purposes and do not require one of the regular permits. Occasional user permits can only be issued where spaces are available and may be suspended when car parks become overcrowded.
Occasional users will not have card access through the barriers they are required to buzz through to security in which they will be asked for their 6 digit permit number which is on the front of the occasional user permit. Once they have entered the car parks and found a designated bay they will be required to display a permit showing the correct date and with the matching number plate written on.
Occasional users are only available to those who live outside of a 2 mile radius to the University and this will be checked on by the car parking department. If you are inside a 2 mile radius you will be refused the permits and given a refund.
Please note you are buying permits in batches of 5 at a cost of £15 per batch limited to a maximum of 4 batches (20 permits) per transaction.
